We have curated a number of hotel blocks with properties we know and love to provide you with the best rates and experience possible. These are all right in the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea and a short drive to all of the wedding venues. Please book your accommodation before May 1st if possible - many hotels in the area are already fully booked in October.

We also recommend the following hotels which are fabulous but were unable to offer room blocks.
The Lodge at Pebble Beach
Hotel Carmel
Hyatt Highlands Inn
Bernardus Lodge
Intercontinental Monterey
Carmel Mission Inn
La Playa
Also brand new to the area are Le Petit Pali and Carmel Beach Hotel, both already receiving great reviews!
We also recommend exploring options with AirBnB or VRBO if renting a house is better suited for you.
Note: The Inn at Spanish Bay is fully booked 10/20-10/22
SFO
San Francisco International will offer the most direct flights for International guests, with direct flights from Aer Lingus, British Airways, United, Delta and many other airlines. From SFO it is a 2 hour drive to the Monterey Area.
SJC + MRY
San Jose International (SJC) and Monterey Regional Airport (MRY) will offer additional options to fly into the region. SJC is just over an hour drive and MRY is a short 15 minute drive to Pebble Beach. We recommend these options for guests flying within California or the Western US.
There are also flights from SFO to MRY if you're keen to avoid a drive.
For those guests making a road trip out of the weekend, Pebble Beach is a direct two hour drive from San Francisco proper, or less from the Peninsula or South Bay, and is also reachable from Southern California for a beautiful drive up the coast.
While Carmel itself is walkable, you will want a car to explore the surrounding area. If flying into the area, we recommend renting a car upon arrival or relying on rideshare services such as Uber or Lyft (TIP: download the app before you get here and pre-book an airport pickup).
Fall weather in Carmel is quite mild with average temperatures from 51-70 degrees F or 13-21 degrees C.
The days can be sunny and warm and we recommend plenty of sunscreen even when you don't see the sun. Evenings do cool down so we recommend a light jacket for men and sweater or wrap for the ladies. Dressing in layers is the best approach for our Coastal California weather.
